Solar Service Center is a locally owned and operated company with its headquarters in Thousand Palms, CA. In 2010 Solar Service Center created 15 new careers for local residents. Solar Service Center was founded by one of the founders of Gen-Self, a 9 year old company that sold to Sunwize Corporation, a division of Mitsui Corporation in 2007. Our founders have over 20 years experience in wind and solar renewable energies.

Solar Service Center maintains an in-house engineering staff with years of solar experience. Having in-house engineers allows us to provide faster quotes, permits, builds and corrections, ensuring on-time delivery of super efficient solar systems. Solar Service Center maintains a full-time in-house construction staff that ensures quality control throughout the entire process. Our staff has a combined experience of over 1000 built solar systems.

Solar Service Center incorporates a true blend of the best purchasing power, experience, and quality, while maintaining low overhead.

Solar Service Center has received commitments from two private investors of $110 million, for built project purchases in 2010. In addition, Solar Service Center has also developed a Power Purchase Agreement, which allows for businesses and residences to have solar installed on their property, take advantage of green savings and benefits, with no out of pocket expenses.
